Based on my understanding you should be able to search for communities via https://browse.feddit.de/ It’ll show communities from all federated servers.

The only foothold I can see for causing trouble would be custom sprites, if that can even be done here. Otherwise there isn’t really a precedent for causing trouble because of game mechanics.
