    It is, unfortunately, a socioeconomic and political reality. Something that is important to keep in mind lest one fall into a trap of dismissing “racial” issues due to its biological non-existence. That is to say, just because something is a fallacious societal construct without a basis in hard science fact, doesn’t mean that it is not impactful in people’s real lives.

        Absolutely agreed. Making social and political decisions on what is known to be pure bunk that is intended only to oppress is ethically bankrupt and what I think is best formally described as “absolute bullshit”.

        My main point earlier is to avoid using the fact that “race” isn’t biologically a real thing as an excuse to dismiss the impact of ongoing systemic racism. In a similar manner to how many on the far-right used the election of Obama as “evidence” that racism doesn’t exist anymore.
