    I dunno if it’s stupid of me but I always get a little freaked out by the whole “revive some thousands or millions year old organism from under the ice/bottom of the sea floor” situation. I think I’ve watched one too many horror flicks.

      It does carry some dangers, all the obvious ones really but humans have always lived dangerously, it is how we have progressed so rapidly. It is probably going to catch up with us one day.

        What do you mean one day? We poured hundreds of billions of dollars (adjusted for inflation) into weaponizing atomic power, then dropped the sun on Japan twice.

        It’s catching up with us all the time and has been doing so since we came into existence. Everyone who has died because of anything we do fits that.

      No, you’re not wrong. It’s incredibly foolish, even given the stringent bio-hazard protocols used by labs conducting this kind of research. Here’s to hoping that whatever it is doesn’t get 12 Monkey-ed.
